Acid Distillery Social Media Animations
For new product releases and event announcements, Acid Distillery and I worked together on producing animations for their social media campaigns. The aesthetic of the animations has evolved as the brand itself has developed. Animations were formatted for Instagram and TikTok with adaptations made for web.
Illustrations were created in Procreate, Adobe Fresco, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. Animations rendered in Adobe Photoshop.
Seaweed Acid Bottle Release
Acid Distillery repurposes the waste from the distillation process for each of its spirits by partnering with another local company. For the seaweed spirit they partnered with Doublé NYC and repurposed the waste into seaweed salt for rimming cocktail glasses. For the announcement of the new ingredient release and collaboration, I illustrated and animated how the seaweed would be repurposed.
1-Year Anniversary Shirt Release
Acid Distillery released a limited-edition shirt printed on Industry of All Nations organic cotton crewnecks. I designed the shirts in Procreate and Adobe Illustrator with little motifs of elements that make up Acid. Such as cocktail glasses, botanicals and ingredients, and the Brooklyn Bridge. The shirts were released in honor of the company’s first year in business and made available for purchase online and at their big anniversary party. I illustrated and animated the motifs for social media marketing materials to promote the party and the release of their shirt.
Acid x NYC Breweries Collab
Acid Distillery, Hudson Valley Brewery, Aftermath NYC, and Root + Branch Brewery collaborated for a sidecar event in NYC. They released new beers, had custom cocktails, and beer and Acid pairings. I illustrated and designed the flyer for print and digital marketing for their event and illustrated and animated social media marketing materials. This is just one of the many animations I made for their event.
Orange Rind Acid Bottle Release Event
Acid Distillery also uses waste from other local NYC companies and repurposes it by making a distillation. For the Orange Rind Acid, Acid used leftover orange rinds from juicing from Beepublic. I created a flyer for their pop-up event for print and digital marketing. Because I always try to provide added value, I illustrated and animated an orange flipping into a cocktail glass for additional social media marketing materials.
Horseradish Acid Bottle Release + Stocklists
For their most recent release, Horseradish, I hand-painted horseradish botanicals for their poster series. I used these watercolor elements and created an animation announcing horseradish and the stockists that carry the bottles. This animation was used for social media marketing.
